Is he the a-hole that had the false start that killed the drive before it started?

Saints look like shite. The Texans might win 2 games this year.

They started with their top guys while the Saints started with their 2nd line

It's obviously evened out as the game has gone along

For the first quarter and a half, yes. They’re on their 3rd qb already.

I’d imagine they’re going to dangle Lutz out there to see if Payton nibbles.

frick that. I mean in the sense of that being the determining factor. frick a ‘24 7th or ‘25 6th round pick, frick the cap, frick what Lutz has done in the past, frick Grupe looking like he’s in Jr. High. Which one has performed the best in camp? He’s our kicker. The other one can kick rocks.

Be nice to get a pick. Be nice to get a little cap relief. But not at the expense of keeping the inferior player, ever so slight as they think the difference may be.

Two Jimmy Graham catches and a 25 yard scramble by Haener are the only plays of the game. Sack by Bresee / Foskey. The rest has been rather blah

Why do they keep interviewing Texans players like this isn't a 4-13 team nobody will care about by October?

Tbf he may have a concussion with the blocking he’s gotten.

Olsen just made a good point that I hope—and think—we’ll see this year. Our offense was so bad last year that it forced DA to be more conservative on defense to just keep the games close. If we score as much as I think we will, he can be much more creative and aggressive on defense, which will lead to more explosive plays (TFLs, sacks, picks, forced fumbles). Probably lead to giving up some explosive plays too, but it should wind up much more in our favor. (I am maybe more bullish on our interior DL than some. I think they’re gonna be significantly better than last year’s group, both stopping the run and getting pressure on the QB. And if you can get pressure up the middle, that opens up the defensive playbook so much)
