Teams can "begin" negotiating with FAs at 11am today

Even though FA doesn't "officially" start until Wednesday. In all reality it starts today.
Saints are still over the cap and are trying to trade for a guy making 35million per year

Loomis already said they will be sitting tight the first few days because that is where the overspending occurs (paraphrasing). And this was before the Watson Grand Jury results.

One thing to keep a eye on, Saints have not tendered Deonte Harty/harris yet. They can still do it and definitely should.

I wouldn't be surprised if they get ahead of his contract.
They do this with players they like.
