Well.......

@FieldYates
The Dolphins have waived DE Taco Charlton, a Cowboys first round pick in 2017. He had 5.0 sacks this past season.

He’s a total bust but if he’s coming in for the league minimum to compete in camp, obviously yes unless he’s a complete head case. Having 5 sacks in 10 games is pretty good.

There must be a deeper deal there with him.

Taco had a decent draft grade coming out of college. Might have been over drafted a little

no Way the guy is the epitome of a bust and I think he’s a little hard to handle. Glad we took Ramcyzk instead.

Already have a clone like him signed in Noah Spence, don’t need another

Clone? He and Spence are nothing alike. Spence is an undersized edge rusher and Charlton is 6'6" 270. I would certainly bring him in for a league minimum contract as a camp tryout. I wouldn't call 9 sacks in 37 games as a rotational player a complete bust. Certainly not a star, but could provide depth.

Wasn't this guy the Michigan DE that shot up the draft boards and everyone loved, but he didn't really produce at all in college? How many times has that one worked out?

Taco is a shell of the player he was thought to become. But I wouldn’t have a beef with the Saints taking a look at him.

No thanks, I'll have the Chimichanga.

But seriously, NO. Hold the Taco.

Not exactly, the issue was he wasn't a fulltime starter until his senior year but he had 10 sacks and 13 TFLs that year and 5 sacks the year before as a rotation player.

Only if we installed a NASCAR package like the Giants use to use with Strahan, Osi, and the rest of the gang.
