Stop the bashing

Everyone is trying to call people out as bandwagon fans these days, saying they weren't here through the hard times so they can't relish in the recent success. Who the frick are you to judge who can and can't pull for the Saints!!
In a time where everyone should be happy, everybody is bickering over who the more true fan is.
NO people think only they can be real fans, the old geysers who were old enough to experience ALL of the bad years think they're the only real fans....
No one area has a better fanbase. Yes, NO is closer in proximity so it's a larger fanbase but each individual household in this whole gulf coast area is different.
So let's all get along and go win a superbowl!!

Bandwagon fans are annoying as shite. Especially ones who recently moved to Louisiana from out of state.
I am from Houston. I grew up an Oilers fan. I should be a Texans fan but I'm not because I had left Houston by the time they came around.
I am not and will never be a Saints fan. I will not jump on the bandwagon.
However, I still want them to win tomorrow.

I do have a problem with those people who, up until this year, barely aknowledged the existance of the Saints. And now, that the team is at the top, everyone is coming out woodwork.

The type of fans that I get annoyed with are the ones that claim to be supporting the team by criticizing the hell out of them - such as after the loss to Tampa Bay, people were jumping off the bandwagon in droves saying that they stand no chance in the playoffs, the team always find a way to disappoint the fans, and blah blah blah. If you support the team, support the team - don't be a *Summers Eve* bag and act like the sky is falling when bad things happen.
Also, bandwagon fans that don't pay attention to football for 95% of the year don't bother me as long as they do some damned research before jumping on the bandwagon. At the bar this week a guy turned to me and said how stupid it is to be dancing in the streets in drag over a dead sportscaster. I politely walked away.

The reason I started this thread was beacause of the one about changing the name to La saints (which I'm against) and the which fanbase is better, gulf coast or BR. I'm not insecure and you can check my recent posts for bashing the team after losses. Don't do it. Won't do it. I love football and I grew up in La. So I bleed purple, black, and gold. I just want all the arguing to diminish. But the guy in the bar talking bout Buddy D shoulda been slapped. It's called respect

I don't get this nonesense bandwagon fan talk at all????????? If someone is a Saints fan or bandwagon fan; they are still Saints fans. Who cares if they just got here or you've been here 40+ years. There are fans all over the US right now wanting the Saints to win, will you tell them they're just bandwagon fans so leave us alone?????? We are all Saints fans right now. Some may not be Saints fans next year, that's their choice.
