Even without the money restrictions, fox will love to play the Minnesota miracle clip everytime they can if he's on the team.

No thanks.

I always wonder if people just think “salary cap” is a made up phrase.

While he is a good player, it makes terrible financial sense to trade for him.

1. It would require taking on his big salary. At some point you can't pay everyone huge salaries and guys like Kamara, Ramczyk, Lattimore, Rankins, etc. will all be looking to get paid soon. You bolster your team by being able to hit on low salary rookies (Kamara is costing the Saints only roughly $1 million per year while giving them all pro level production) On that note...

2. Trading for Diggs means giving up this year's 1st round pick (at least). The Saints already don't have a 2nd rounder (traded to Miami to select McCoy), so trading this year's first (and likely other picks) would leave the Saints fewer opportunities to add low costs/high performance rookies to the team.

While everyone wants as many megastars on their team as possible, this isn't the MLB. The cap effectively prevents that from happening.

I'm all over the Emmanuel Sanders train.

I hate giving up picks but in this instance I do it.
add an extra year and you have him as a ginn replacement.
this is the last year of Ginn's contract and he isn't a true number 2.
Sanders is just that.
elite quickness and football smarts.
man I hope the saints can somehow pull this off because when it becomes playoff time we need a true #2

Diggs isn't worth $14 million/year in a vacuum. And he certainly isn't worth $14 million/year on the Saints roster.

Sanders would be great and able to play unlike Green

I read that Green was close to coming back soon but I would think he's not going to rush back with their season being a lost cause at this point.

Madden Trade Mode: [ON] Off

I wouldn’t mind trading a low round pick for a guy like DeVante Parker before the deadline. We could use a WR with Smith being out. We can’t afford Diggs though. If we were going to pay that much or trade that much, I’d rather go after Trent Williams.

IF they trade for someone, they better be above average football IQ with our playbook and personnel.

More realistic option is "ya boy dez"

But if you put them together you’d get about 14 games out of them.

Great trade “if” Lumas can make the dollars work. Is Taysom ready? If so, Teddy might be glad to go “home”. Tough call.
