Aside from Hargrove, they got no pressure without blitz help. Palmer had all day to throw when we didnt send the house

what? will smith forced palmer into an INT, grant had a sack, and palmer hit the turf numerous times after throwing jason david's way real quick. the pass rush looked real good w/o blitz.

I remember palmer having all day to throw once on the first series. Other than that I have no idea what you're talking about

Ifbeverything on offense stays the same and our dline plays like that we will def be in the playoffs. CBs I thought would be a strength was sub par.

Grant didnt have a sack.

And we'll have to disagree about how the pass rush looked without the blitz

how can you disregard the blitz when its sort of the calling card of the Williams D? do you not expect us to have more blitz packages once the regular season starts?

Gibbs is gone we no longer rely solely on the front 4

Im not disregarding the blitz.
Thats obviously gonna be a huge part of what we do this year.
All i was doing is disagreeing with a few guys that said the d-line got great pressure without the blitz.

but under williams the blitz will be assisting the DL in getting pressure. Thats basically how many NFL teams it. Don't feel bad, after gibbs you just aren't used to it

Aside from Deuce being hurt we haven't had a power running attack in 2 years. This has been and will continue to be a problem. A hurdle we have to jump before we can expect greatness. It hasn't been adequately addressed. I'm pointing fingers at our GM and Coach for this. Third and shorts are going to be just as aggravating as past recent years

Im not talking about blitzing.
