when Kamara and MT are traded or worse?
We have heard NON STOP on the board that Loomis et al only deal with high character players and have zero tolerance for troublemakers....
MT tanked his season. a blind man could see that. from a self=preservation standpoint i could understand, but not from a team standpoint. and then there is Kamara. letys see where he ends up.
Payton's house of cards will come a tumbling down. Poor Dennis Allen will be there when it collapses.

Do people usually trade for players with huge contracts and problems? Curious if you think this is how it works.

wouldn't the cap hit be worse if they lost those two players. MT is about $27mil dead cap this year so makes no sense to send him packing. Certainly don't want to take the hit and then watch him play on another team.

Kamara is not getting traded or cut.
He F'ed up and will pay for his mistake. There is no history of "mistakes" or problems with him. He wont go to jail as some claim. He may serve a suspension and be fined by the league in addition to fines and probation etc. legally but he's not a poor character guy.
Thomas can go F himself, he's a head case that went to war with the team and basically chose to sit out all season. I hope Loomis trades him but if he cant get a bag dirty socks for him then cut him. I could care less if he blows up and become a HoFer on some other team. He's a disgrace to the New Orleans Saints and that's saying something considering we've had a guy who we used (2) first round picks on that got cut because he couldn't stay out of the Super Dome suites buffet lines before games.
