What will happen..

Tampa loses 2/3 and the Saints will lose to Carolina by 1 on the last play of the game after beating both Cleveland and Philly.

Dennis Allen has won back to back games exactly once in his entire head coaching career. In 2012, he beat the eventually 2-14 Jaguars in Overtime (26-23) and followed it up by beating the eventually 2-14 Kansas City Chiefs (26-16).

Our first 4 wins were followed up with at least 2 straight losses this season, so it is more likely that we follow that pattern and lose to the Browns and Eagles before maybe beating the Panthers.

So to recap, the only time that Allen has won back to back games is when he played against the two absolutely worst teams in the NFL in back to back games, and he almost lost one of those in OT.

Who cares? Any team with s losing record should not be “in”
Playoff dilution is ridiculous.

Maybe so, but the rules are the rules. I wanna make it. The saints have had horrible luck in playoffs not getting bye with normal bye records, so if we make it with a losing record, so what... I'll enjoy it without apologizing once

What about this?

Saints beat Cleveland and panthers. Lose to eagles. 7-10

Bucs lose to cardinals and falcons. Beat panthers. 7-10

Falcons lose to ravens. Beat cards and bucs. 7-10

Who wins south?

Strength of Schedule ratings for both teams for the last 3 weeks of the season:

Saints: 19
Bucs: 29 (4th easiest)

It’s the only logical outcome for the Saints!

Either that or Saints win out, TB loses to Az & beats Carolina. Then the Saints need Atl to get the win over TB forcing Saints fans to pull for the Falcons and "Brady magic" happens at the end

Won’t need Brady magic there.

100% the Falcons throw the game if that’s what we need in the end.

Why? Why would we even want to make the playoffs? To lose game 1? WTF?

This team will not, and should not, be in the playoffs.

After throwing the entire NFC South in a flaming dumpster this year just to prolong Old Man Brady's career one more season, you think the NFL is suddenly going to allow a scenario where he doesn't make the playoffs?

Could be an exciting race to the finish line, but if any NFC South team is in a position to overtake TB, expect something like to No-Call to happen.

I'll add to it. The final drive will consist of an outrageous pass interference call that will place the ball on the two yard line for the go ahead TD with 10 seconds left.
