To reiterate my prior point:

Drew Brees > Matt Flynn > Aaron Rodgers

Saints offense > Packers Offense

Ummmm.... stats to back this up. That's an awfully questionable statement.

What Matt Flynn did today proved to me they did not need Rodgers to beat playoff teams. And not to nitpick, but Rodgers was able to rest today because the team took care of business.

Flynn passed for over 400 yards and had 6 passing TDs to beat the Lions. Next week if Brees was out and Daniels played the Saints wouldn't have a chance against the Lions. Rodgers is a good QB, but he's not even close to Brees. He'll win the MVP because of what the Packers as a team have done this year. It's pathetic that Brees won't win MVP this year. It's a sad joke, but when the Saints beat the Packers for a trip to the Superbowl - the fine folks of Green Bay will still have their MVP, while Saints fans will have the real deal.

So you want to penalize someone for showing up to work more and being more productive
Actually, Rodgers wasn't more productive in terms of TDs.

He had 1 more TD this season than Brees, in one less game.

Actually, Flynn's game was better than anything Brees did this season, so he has to be ahead of Brees as well according to your logic.

No, where you dropped on your head as a child? What the frick does that mean anyway? Rodgers boss decided not to play him today. You clearly don't understand what being more productive is anyway.

Someone "produces" 45 units in 15 days, he is more productive than someone that produces 46 in 16. Its called math.

Not to mention, the guy who did it in 15 days actually produced 48 units, to the guy who produced 47 in 16 days.

So the one guy produced more units in less days.

Being responsible for more TDs in less games is part of the reason why he should be MVP.

Brees leads the NFL in nearly every statistical category recorded by the league. He broke a 27 year old record....among others. His offense broke the total yards record set by the "Greatest Show on Turf". He deserves the MVP....i don't care if he's thrown a few more interceptions and scored a couple less TDs. The greatest season for a QB in NFL history needs to be recognized and awarded. deal with it

Not if you know basic math and aren't a blind homer or mentally deficient.

Rodgers had 502 att 4643 yds 9.25/att and 45 TDs .0897/att

He completed 68.3% and 6 ints

Brees had 657 att 5476 yds 8.33/att and 46 TD .07001/att

He completed 71.2% of his passes and had 14 INTS

If Rodgers had thrown as many passes as Brees he would have 6077 yds and 59 TD's and 8 INTs. Brees has a better comp%. Hence Rodgers has better stats.

These are 2 of the greatest seasons by a QB ever, both have a great case for MVP. To say one winning over the other is wrong is just bias.

Because the temp agency sent in someone who produced more units in one day than AR did in any game all year. Yards, too.

So Flynn is better than Daniels, glad we cleared that up.

No.

Packers - Rodgers >>>>>>>> Saints - Brees.
