ya know this thread got me thinking...
there are some awfully bad threads throughout the year to contend for datty status. The end of the season ones seem to get a lot more votes though just cuz they were recent. What about making the worst thread of the year an ongoing competition via bumpage? That is, have one acclaimed to be the worst so far (like this one). Then keep it bumped towards the hall of shame. When a new contender comes around you can vote them head to head and the worst would stay bumped until outvoted. The reigning worst would bear even more dattitude that way.
