If we lose Jimmy to money elsewhere you might as well get used to watching a mediocre 8-8 team for a few years.

I don't get this line of thinking. Graham is great, really great, but I really think we could draft Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jace Amaro or Marcel Jensen and the offense wouldn't miss a step. Athletic Tight Ends are more readily available now than 10 years ago and Brees has done well with Antonio Gates and Jeremy Shockey before Graham, so why can't he do great with another player after Graham?

You left out Eric Ebron but I understand your line of thinking. Would rather have Graham though because he already has several seasons under his belt in the Saints system. Jimmy isn't going anywhere though because he'll get the franchise tag if a deal isn't worked out.

He looked good. I forgot it was legal to throw to Tight Ends in College ball.

The following players will more then likely not be back with us next season:

1. Will Smith
2. Roman Harper
3. Jon Vilma
4. Lance Moore
5. Jabari Greer (If that thread is accurate)
6. Robert Meachem
7. Charles Brown (Who would come back cheap even if)

That's a lot of money saved and brought back. On top of that, if we release Bunkley before June 1st, we'll save something like 6 million. I'd rather keep him but I know that will weigh heavily on Loomis. If we get Brees to restructure, even better. So not really sure why people keep saying we'll have no money. Even with re-signing Graham, you know Loomis is a master of working around the dollar.

Can't believe I missed that statement the first time I read the thread.

Please tell me that was a troll.

Where is Lance going? What is this based off of?

Not likley. It's not like he's making more than other QBs who aren't as good as him. If you look at Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco's contract, Brees is severly underpaid.

Highly doubt there are 3 Jimmy Graham's in this draft.

Shockey wasn't ever close to what Graham is.

you really think the Bucs would be dumb enough to trade someone like Revis within their own division?

Absolutely not! The son of a bitch is never happy, and he hasn't been quite the same since the injury (understandably so).
