re: what to eat in New Iberia?

Good heads up. Didn't realize they were closed.

Republic or Glazers?
For casual dining: Duffy's on center street. Chili dog or Strimp PO-Boy

My suggestion at Bon Creole is the crawfish PO-Boy.

Clementines and Little River are ok but mostly hit or miss.

RVW Gardens is good. Lunch only.

Victors isn't bad, but....
Cafe Des Amis > Victors IMO. That $3.95 from your B&B is great and all but the food is not on the same level.

Drive over to loreauville and try the Teche Cafe if time permits.
I pick in 5 minutes. You'll be fine.
Good luck to each of you.

I pick at 8:45, several sets I've been watching vanished between 3 and 4 today. Regrouping for tomorrow. Singles are all over the place. To bad LSU doesn't work that part of the system better. I love the technology but some tweaking is warranted in that regard.

I've seen a couple of great sets pop up here and there. They are snatched up in no time. As with most things, timing is everything.

Currently on the top row in 418 which is ok.
where the hell does the visitor's band sit ?

If you don't care about the scoreboard, those are the seats to get. No rain and no sun.

If on the top row of the bottom bowl in the SEZ, any idea if you can stand and still see the game?
I realize this is opinion only. How are the top rows of the SEZ bottom bowl in comparison to the top rows of the upper bowl in the SEZ? I know you can't see the score board, but other than that?

No Rain, No Sun ??

Appreciate it.
you really think the Bucs would be dumb enough to trade someone like Revis within their own division?

Why would LSU pay extra money to implement some of these improvements when people keep paying for the tickets?

Simple: to be better than other schools and not settle for 1/2 assed-ness
SIRI - got in at .46 and have sold at or around highs and added on dips.
SD - not so good
ACAD - sold too soon
NBS - long
Friday is the best night if you want the Crab cake special, which is excellent.
Poor management, especially at the restaurant level is one of the biggest reasons they are closing. People will not tolerate poor service, nor some of the other crap that was going on over there. IMHO

Their oyster sandwich is great!
Try to make it to Healdsburg if you have time, visit J Vineyards, Simi, and Rodney Strong. Eat at Oakville Grocery while in Healdsburg.

Visit Yountville as well, set up a tasting at Jessup cellers. Many upper end places to dine in Yountville.

Other wineries to consider visiting if time permits:

Sterling
Hess
Burgess
Balducci
Silver Oak
Chandon

For the first time in my life, I may have to pull for the Cowboys! On second thought, I don't think so.
I think the jury is still out on the laffy location.

I had a friend tell me he and his wife were sitting in their bar having drinks and watching the LSU-Ole Miss game, only to have them change the channel to the Stanford game because apparently the arse. Manager was a big fan of Stanford. He said he had words with the manager, going so far as to tell him they will not make it pulling crap like that. He said the manager did agree and corrected the situation.
