Do you think he lobbies the Saints to trade up in hopes of landing LB Jarvis Jones? Or do we perhaps take the other Georgia LB, Alec Ogletree at 15? Just food for thought really.

3 months on the job he won't be making any kind of trade up requests.

Not so much lobbying for a guy, but rather convincing the front office this is the right guy for our team, I suppose? We already know our front office will be scouting him, it's just a matter of how much they like him, ya know?

Saints can't afford to trade up in the draft. We need as many cheap, productive players as we can get. They'd be better off crossing their fingers and hoping that JJ drops for health reasons. If not, no biggie.

I no longer am able to 'book mark' threads now. I wanted to read this one later. Is there a way to do so?

Or John Jenkins NT might be a bit of a stretch at #15 but not out of the question. Trading down for a target someone like him could be an option too. Recover a 2nd Rder in the process.

If nothing else hope they got the skinny on GA guys from him while here. Shawn Williams, Rambo, Kwame Geathers, Cornelius Washington, & Sanders Comming all look defensive guys under him that could be drafted later on.

I don't think we can draft Grantham.

We have more open positions than just DC, right? Which spots need filling? Can Grantham fit in one of those roles?

the buzz in coaching circles he wants back in to the NFL as a DC. Otherwise he stays at GA. Also have read rumors that he is seeking a million dollar plus deal as a DC.

We have a vacancy at secondary coach.
We REALLY need a good hire here.
But most likely, the DC will bring his own man.

Uh, I think you need to figure out what lobby means.
