Thomas, Smith, and Peat for Adams and one of their LBs sounds good to me

Not sure there is a locker room big enough for the Davante Adams/ Michael Thomas discussion on who will be WR1 and who is WR2

A trade with Dolphins would be better:

Trade Michael Thomas, Chris Olave and Derek Carr for Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle.

Waddle would be a clear choice for number one WR and you get a great young up and coming QB in Tua.

I’m what world is

Tua who’s a sack away from being out of the league and Jaylen Waddle better than Carr, MT and Olave. Even is MT is hurt, I’d rather our guys. If you want to get interesting throw in Tyree Hill.

Davante pretty much said Derek wasn’t shite last year.

Some of y’all who’ve been carrying water for Carr are going to be severely disappointed when you see this guy play and realize he’s not an upgrade over Dalton based on both of their performances last season.

He’s definitely an upgrade from Dalton. I don’t think anybody thinks he’s Drew Brees. Most just hope he performs well so we don’t suck again.

I’ll put it to you like this: his best season was like 8 years ago and he’s been chasing it ever since. Oh, and he’s certified dog shite in the red zone.

Lil guy, you won’t be able to use this year because when Carr craps out and shows just how mid he is I’ll be the one making threads about it while you silently rage behind your computer.

Uhhh, that's what all the hoopla around him "not seeing eye to eye" with LV is about. Dude said that based on last year, he's pretty much QB proof because he got All-Pro and didn't need a quarterback to do it because he is who he is.

Here's a statement that Adams did make regarding the change from Rodgers to Carr. I don't agree with it but it sure is far from calling Carr dog shite. I think Carr is talented but not an Aaron Rodgers.
quote:

Earlier this year, Adams was traded to the Raiders after eight seasons with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. At the time, Adams dismissed the idea that there would be any problems, saying that going from Rodgers to Carr was like changing "hall of famer to hall of famer."

"Any time you change QBs from one hall-of-famer to hall-of-famer... it's going to be a little bit of an adjustment," Adams told CBS Sports.

That was in July before the season.

Needless to say opinions changed because dude just said he was him and was QB-proof, heavily implying that going from Rodgers to Carr AFTER playing with Carr as a pro was a strong disappointment.
