One game he actually told a player on another team that they should trade for Greg Jennings while Greg Jennings was standing right there. And this wasn’t a joking situation.
Shady is a Retard
That's unfair because earlier in the game that ninja broke his fkn leg.

Drew Brees made $10mm/year from 2006-2011
We should have tripled his salary after 2006 and he’d still be underpaid
frick off with all of this and Lesean McCoy is a retarded lamp post.

Anytime I hear Brees and Rodgers names in the same sentence it brings me back to the 2011 NFL Players lockouts and how Brees organized and paid out of pocket (mainly for rookies who could not afford it) for organized team workouts he was also behind coordinating the logistics and arrangements. Brees started it out and many other teams leaders followed suit. When the press in Green Bay asked Aaron Rodgers why he wasn't doing the same he dodged the interviewers but his reply when eventually cornered by the press was it was unnecessary and he wasn't interested in doing it. He also made some remarks kind of mocking Brees and others for their efforts. People can possibly condemn Brees for some of his past decisions but they can never condemn him for not putting 100% effort into this team and his own preparation. Aaron Rodgers is a f...ing narcissist and nothing will ever change that.
And then Green Bay kicked our shite in, first game of that 2011 season. Ingram stuffed at the goal line in his first game as a Saint...

I believe it. Frick Drew Brees. He screwed this team long enough

Brees could’ve named his price on the open market.
The one player who outplays his salary is supposed to take less money while we waste money on Junior Gallettes and Jarius Byrds and Brandon Browners

You know who earned every dollar he was ever paid by the New Orleans Saints?? Drew Brees. He didn't get Sean Payton suspended in 2012. He didn't hire bad defensive coordinators. He didn't draft bad players, he didn't sign bad overpriced defensive players, he didn't resign Locker Room Cancers. He did however lead elite offenses for 15 years. There's a reason Sean Payton left a year after he retired.

McCoy is full of shitty takes. I listen to him everyday on Sirius radio on the way home from work he’s legit retarded. These guys think n because they played in the NFL they are always right

The worst decision ever was bringing this arse clown back to the Saints. It almost seemed scripted.

I think the league put Drew in a tough spot because his stats made him a Top 5 QB, but that performance didn't equal on the field with record.
So one could argue that if he had taken less then you might have signed another piece, kept a piece or had leverage to trade for a piece that could have been the difference.

I’ll repeat it, Drew Brees made $10 million the year the Saints won the Super Bowl
He was making slightly more than David Garrard, Matt Hasselbeck, and Derek Anderson. He was making HALF of what Peyton Manning was making.
He was making less than the following QBs:
Matt Cassell
Jay Cutler
Brett Favre
Eli Manning
Ben Roethlisberger
Donovan McNabb
Carson Palmer
Philip Rivers
Jamarcus Russell
Matt Schaub
Kurt Warner
The guy was the most underpaid player maybe in league history for several years, especially relative to his peers, and the discussion is “he should have taken a pay cut”. If this is your stance, with all due respect, suck my dick.

Unless Brees is also expected to play defense for the money this argument falls apart. It is common knowledge that the Saints more times than not put subpar defensive units on the field which directly affected their W/L record. In fact Brees was known to elevate many of his teammates ie: the ability to throw his receivers open, to read a defense almost instantly, to go through his progressions and know if a receiver/receivers will reach the point of the anticipated reception on time before they arrive and an extremely quick release of the ball so as to negate the pass rush. In other words brees' ability to get the ball quickly out of his hands made the pass blockers job a good bit easier. This is common knowledge backed up by a multitude of analysts, teammates, and his opponents. In fact it was his performance that made him a top tier Q.B. not just his stats.

How do we have the 4th most wins since 2006?
Y’all talking out ya booty

There was an era in there where the highest paid QBs were not making the Super Bowls.
Teams got their withj guys on their rookie deals and built teams around them.
Some of the most recent games featured at least one on a rookie deal.
Hurts
Burrow
Mahomes--Rookie deal
Mahomes (rookie Deal) vs Jimmy G on a cheap deal
Goff---Saints screw year
Folk-Cheap deal
The Atlanta flop with Ryan and Brady was the last Super Bowl to feature 2 QBs on 2nd+ contracts.
