Wow, that's huge. They'll be down two actually. Not sure how long Browners injury will keep him out.

We'll be at just about the same strength as them, having two of our CBs out indefinitely. Great news for our passing attack

That's wonderful...but at this point, the Saints need to play ball control with Seattle. Keep their offense off the field and wear down their defense with the run or short, high percentage passes.

This is great news to wake up to! I agree that ball control will be the name of the game in this match up.

Completely disagree. I want to get in a shootout in which they cannot keep up. Their entire offense is predicated on smashing Lynch into defenses all game, then PA when they bite down on it. You make Wilson one dimensional and have to pass first, they look much more pedestrian.
And with two Cbs out, why wouldn't you attack that? Sherman will most likely be on Graham all game, so I expect Colston, Stills, Moore, Watson all to get some very good looks

Browner's injury was pretty significant. I highly doubt he plays.

Can it be appealed or was that the appeal decision? Because if he can still appeal won't he be playing?

seattle is a depressing place, I can imagine this is how they cope.

They didn't mention appeal. All they said was that it would go into affect with the first game after bye. NFL appeals are pretty quick and I would think it would be in effect by next Monday. Also, these type drug deals are rarely, if ever, overturned.

big blow with browner out

Jeremy Lane and Byron Maxwell for #2 CB & slot

Lane, 2nd year 6th Rd pick out of Northwestern (La.). Anybody familiar with him from there?
Here's a detailed scouting report

Maxwell is a 2011 6th rd pick. The seachickens really have been targeting these large CBs. He also is 6'1" 235lbs

Apparently it is already under appeal. However a few of the articles I looked up say he is planning on dropping his appeal early this week. Does not say why.

That gives me hope. San Fran was probably already a tough game for them, despite them not being a threatening team with the pass; although, Crabtree returning for them is a boost in the passing game. Hopefully both of those corners are still out when they play the Giants and Cardinals, because those teams have the ability to pose a threat in the passing game.

This will hurt, but I don't think it's that huge of a deal. The Hawks still have Sherman, probably the best safeties in the NFL, and elite pass rushers.
