It's an excuse to leave for Dallas Cowboys.

Skylene must not have felt safe walking around magazine st with the five million dollar rock on her hand.
I'm not sure if you couldn't comprehend my post or if you are actually making my point why Payton has preferred gated-communities/sprawling lot/mansion combinations that are non-existent Uptown.

I don’t see Sean Payton’s property on the Orleans parish assessors site. Where did he live uptown?

I don't know if that's the true reason, but it's hard to argue the fact that the city has been on a steady decline for at least 5+ years now. People get victimized much more frequently even in the tourist areas now.

No doubt his wife is behind this

I don't doubt this ... I know a ton of NOLA lifers who are fed up with the city and looking to move. People that I never thought would ever leave the city. LaToya is gonna be the end of this franchise in NOLA
members of my family who I thought were NOLA lifers (as in live in Orleans Parish to their dying day) just sold their house to move to JP b/c their next door neighbor was carjacked in their driveway (ETA: in the neighbor's driveway... not my family member's driveway) in a middle-to-upper class area of the city
that's after just a few months prior... a city subcontractor's truck was stolen while doing road work in front of their house
never thought this day would come... but it's here

I can believe that. Makes sense.

There is absolutely no truth to this story. There is no crime in NOLA since they removed any and all confederate statues.
This is what happens when you bend the knee to woke culture. General Lee was keeping crime down under his watchful eye. Replace him with a crack spoon and a snake, usually a symbol of evil, and now look at the city….

can you really blame her? violent crime is through the roof right now. i mean, you can't even safely go to costco. it's the main reason why most of us have moved away. i'll always love NOLA, but if you have other options, how could you rationalize living there?

I mean, New Orleans as a city isn't that great. If I were a millionaire athlete or coach, it's one of the last cities I'd want to live in.

This has to be the stupidest little New Orleans foible on that long list. Basically nobody in any other big city gives a shite. I mean, maybe people in Manhattan look down on people in Jersey City, but anyone clinging to an Orleans Parish address out of some weird sense of loyalty or authenticity needs his head checked.

I have no sympathy. New Orleans repeatedly votes for this. Pretty stupid to elect the current mayor not once but twice. So I can’t feel sorry for them.

In this market? People are building houses and listing them the day after closing on them.

As a resident of Jefferson Parish, you couldn't pay me to live in NOLA.

He had a townhouse on Prytania near the park. Others are saying he was building a house. The only thing I ever heard Is that he sold his Prytania street townhouse and bought a place in the 4 seasons.

New Orleans is a shithole. Wouldn't want to live there either. But these people are loaded. You'd only have to live there for like 4-5 months and in the nicer parts away from the actual city. This bitch from West Virginia, what kind of demands could she be making coming from that shithole. New Orleans might actually be an upgrade.

or... and follow this... they have already accomplished everything they had to in life and everything they wanted was still within a short driving distance (well... except me... I had to leave to find a job in my chosen field) from the current address and had never had any problems with where they were living until this current situation
they just had no reason to leave... until now
