T.W. is a part-time player. Honestly after watching the entire NC game I was surprised how often he was NOT in the game.
We need a DE or LB that is going to play 80% of more of the snaps, and impact our overall Def performance.

A situational pass rusher that has somehow found himself with first round hype, but that's mainly from the Mcshay types who alter their rankings once actual scouts weigh in, I'd be shocked if his stock doesn't begin to take a big hit

Too much untapped potential there. A classic mistake is assuming what you see right now is all a college player will be on the next level.
No one, and I mean, no one saw Anthony Barr becoming a strong side linebacker who was excellent in coverage.
Or using the tag of "raw" or "unrefined" as death sentences. Once I saw Ziggy Ansah go from someone who didn't know a 3 point stance was even called a 3 point stance, to an excellent edge rusher, raw doesn't scare me either.
There's guys rightly ahead of Williams as a pure pass rusher. But he deserves a strong look. Even if he's a "situational" guy, which I'm not even sold on as the truth. What, like our team is good on speedy edge rushers?

in both examples listed you could argue both were raw due to lack of coaching....do you feel that's the case at Alabama?

I have never been high on Williams. In fact I will be pissed if we take him at #11

Don't want to waste the 11th pick on a situational player. We need someone who can contribute right away. He's an OLB in a 3-4. Are we switching defenses again? All in for Barnett.
