He might not be a 1st he has medical issues. But we should have a 1st from whoever Sean goes to next year.

Yeah, uh, they may be friends, but he walked away from his contract. If he comes back to coach this soon then Loomis absolutely should get the best compensation for his team. Should go beyond being good friends. And Payton would understand that given he left the team.

Friends or not Loomis would be neglecting his job if he didn’t demand fair compensation for Sean. I think he will take 1 first round pick but really it should be two. I’d ask for a 1st and a 3rd.

No because the Saints traded away their #1 pick for next year.
Dumb move to do that in a coaches first draft.
Why did DA think he was so good that he could trade away next years #1 pick when it was likely this would be a "rebuild" year, and the Saints would not have a good season.
He should have traded down and got more picks FOR next year.

Yeah...who needs draft picks. I bet Loomis felt all warm and fuzzy and loved CSP even more when he learned about his agent talking to miami
