Saints won’t play Shough in first 4 games b/c Mickey + Gayle don’t want early criticism

The longer they keep “Shough” learning on the bench…
The longer of a leash they get from local media and casual fans that there is still hope the Saints can turn things around when he finally plays.
Mickey and Gayle don’t want to hear about the wasted pick and lack of roster management not getting a veteran QB to put out a somewhat competent Offense until November at the earliest.

They arent pulling him.
He shows some Gritt.
Tyler Seaux. Looks too much like a statue out there, cant climb the pocket, and even sense pressure. But he does throw a nice ball.

I think they bring in a Vet QB. Winston or Wilson.

Overall, I agree with you….. I do think Rattler had a good day today though. My thoughts are that right now they are pretty even…..which means that Shough is ahead IMO. Rattler should be head and shoulders above him with the experience he gained last season and he’s not.
IMO this is going to be a tough season regardless, so it serves no purpose to have Rattler start if they are even. You need to see (for sure) what you have in Shough.
I believe that KM is going to wait until after the final preseason game to call it though.
