Cherry pick if you want- but this is the notion held throughout the organization.

I guarantee The people replying to this "Have you ever heard of Colston Dude?!?!?!" are the same morons who would say we have a bad scouting department if we kept all the picks, once none of those guys made the team because of the depth of the roster

In the last five drafts how many guys did we pick after round three? How many made the team?

I agree with Rand here.

I like all 3 players but still feel that we need 1 more wr that is a legit threat.

Overall no real complaints with the Saints draft strategy and execution especially with the possibility of the off-season being impacted by Covid.

The people bitching about giving up picks in rounds 4-7 would be the same fricking people bitching when those picks didn't make the team because the roster is absolutely loaded. Stupidity has not been affected by COVID-19

They are just mad that they have nothing to watch today now.

I disagree based on your assessment of our needs. This team needs a home run hitting WR. I am fearful that once again we’re going to lose games because we don’t have weapons. Sanders and Cook are old, MT can’t be a mega star EVERY GAME, and Lewis/Smith just aren’t all that good.

I have a feeling Deonte Harris will play a larger role this year. Even if he only catches 20-30 balls, he can blow games open if they are mostly explosive plays. He doesn't have to be Tyreek Hill,he just has to be Devery Henderson.

Walker is going to be a stud for Atlanta. I wish we would have got him. But we traded all our picks for a slow TE from Dayton.

No... because I would’ve told them don’t trade up and take a guy who had a diluted piss sample and had an injury history... but it appears they like having their players with hospital histories... nice try pussy

I’m sure Trautman with his lineman speed will be able to stretch the field better than a Thad moss and we wouldn’t have to have given up 4 picks to get him... after all, Trautman played that tough competition at Dayton and Thad moss only faced the best defenses in the country... but I was just a marine and I don’t know how to evaluate things.

Shocked you have time to post since you are working an NFL war room right now. Thought all GM's would be busy right now but you must be better than the rest. You have an incredible eye for talent and understanding of the game of football.

Also, congrats on calling me a pussy. Glad it's out of your system. Maybe I'll act like a 10 year old today too

I actually do... I put a heisman bet on Burrow before the season, i coached a year of college football. I was tasked with scripting scouting reports for our opponents... because I got Simmons position wrong the clowns on this board like to try and beat you down... not gonna happen. I predicted spencer ware would be better in the nfl than Jeremy hill, got into an argument with a clown like you about it before I ever knew of a site like this. I guess time will tell us how great Davenport is... so far we are underwater with him but keep swimming... we will have these threads to go back on.

What a resume

You predicted that one mid tier running back would be better than another? Get this man enshrined in Canton

See I respectfully dont agree with the title of this post. There are SEVERAL other teams with better drafts. Miami comes to mind. Tua, the OT from USC, good corner from Auburn. Raekwon Davis from Bama (Saints pick by the way). These arent just names. These kids have had great careers and are being drafted high for a reason. I mean I like the center pick. The Linebacker pick is ok let's see. That TE pick man what was that? The only real real saving grace is that we will have many picks next year. Really looking forward to a draft we didnt trade away.

Do you realize we released our last 4 picks last year? We have a deep, talented roster. Great problem to have.

Which is why low hanging draft picks were really 'a waste'
this year...
