Saints went 7-10 and Ian Book didn't have to start a game...

Only one loss more than some Sean Payton teams and Sean had drew Brees at Quarterback and half of his wide reciever core wasn't on IR

IMHO this team is going to have more losing seasons before the need to rebuild is finally acted upon by the Saints Powers that Be.

Saints FO and many Saints fans are in denial WRT the capability of this roster to win Playoff games.

I guarantee the front office is using the same logic to justify keeping Allen and company.

Going on a 4 game win streak before being officially eliminated from the playoffs is absolutely going to brought up.

They will use the injury to the QB, offensive line and MT13 to justify keeping Allen and letting Carmichael walk. Then we will go 8-9 next year and they will say we didn’t have a QB and were cap strapped. Then we will go 6-10 and finally get rid of Allen.

List the 4 games we won in a row ??. We beat two playoff caliber teams this whole year and one started their backup that we only scored 13 offensive pts against. Delusional.

Payton is smart head coach but seems to make dumb emotional decisions.

NFC was bad this year and if he would have given another year to the Saints he most likely would have gotten the saints to 13-4 or 12-5(Eagles probably play Hurts).

Good chance Saints see either Eagles or 49ers in NFC championship game. The only other team that would have given the Saints trouble offensively would have been Dallas because of their pass rush.
