If Tyree doesn't pull off that ridiculous catch, nobody would ever bring up this awful argument.
they were outplayed in every phase of that game and they shouldn't have even let it come down to that

You were pimping "Adrian" as being an unstoppable home run threat.
I referenced how he had just a shade over 1 yard per carry against us last season, even with our terrible defense.
If you don't see how this is relevant, then you need to lay off the paint chip primavera.
you realize that you geared up to stop the run the whole game because we had gus frerotte as quarterback? do you not know how football works? why do you think we went and got brett favre? so we had a passing threat to compliment adrian peterson. last years game has no meaning whatsofrickingever now so please stop bringing it up. i understand this is probably your first year of watching football but please just stop

but our receivers are good enough that we don't have to use 10 different people
What a goddamn moron.
You guys should have 2 loses and got bat shite lucky to beat the 49'ers.

I'm just saying this if we had home field locked up and we could play our backups
We could finish this season 15-1 and not have homefield for the playoffs. Unless the Vikings stumble to the finish, which they've showed no sign that this could happen, we're playing to win ever single game.

if you want to play the "should" game, we would have 1 loss. we would have lost the 49ers game and won the steelers game.
by the way its called the favre effect and only we have it

It still doesn't change the fact that people wouldn't bring this up. They would say, "Hey, the Patriots did just fine going undefeated. They won the Superbowl."
They were dominated and still were 1 play away from winning that game. The argument is dumb because it's not like the had more pressure on them because they were undefeated, or that they were too relaxed because they were undefeated. They were still playing in the god damn Superbowl, the biggest game in the world (save probably the World Cup and Euro league finals). That game would have turned out the same regardless if they finished the season 15-1 or 16-0.

Hey, if I'm wrong, I have the excuse of going through a 1/5th of SoCo 100 proof and 6 beers tonight. At least, I think it was only 6 beers. Could've been 12. For that matter where the hell am I? I have a computer so I'm either at work or at home. Since I'd be fired if I'm this drunk at work, I hope I'm at home.
I know I'm pretty hammered when Bobby Hebert starts making sense to me.

honestly i am no alt, i am just a humble minnesotan bandwagon lsu fan that hopped on in '03 and havent gotten off yet. i've seen that everyone on this board wears black and gold glasses and i'm just trying to spread the word that the saints are not unbeatable

You're wrong. It was the combination of the favre effect and Brady not having the swagga tonight, apparently.

There's a BIG difference between saying this
and this
quote:
45-21 game in favor of the Vikings
and this
quote:
and i'm just trying to spread the word that the saints are not unbeatable

If Brees plays the way he did tonight, you can't stop him. Granted that's a big if and we're still several weeks away, but at the very least you can agree with that, right?

had Favre had a perfect QB rating in a game this year?
