Upvote: Saints go 7-10, falcons win the division, we miss the playoffs and the Saints part ways with Dennis Allen. The saints interview Matt Nagy, Ron Rivera, and Brian Flores. The hire is one of those three.
Downvote: Saints go 9-8, win the division, lose 34-27 in the wild card round. Dennis Allen is retained, but Pete Carmichael is replaced with Eric Bieniemy.

I'm not for purposely losing games but if those are my only two options I'll take the higher draft pick and get rid of DA. I'd be pretty pissed if the Falcons drafted JD5 before us. Division win means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

You do realize these are very likely. We probably aren’t going to get Ben Johnson. And it’s likely we hire a retread as teams do that every year. Our best bet on a young guy is probably Kellen Moore of Kingsbury.

They do but OP put 3 of the worst HC candidates in the DA gone option that he could find.

If we were to fire DA and hire Ron Rivera or Nagy I’d officially be done with the saints.
