Totally agree. Engram would be awesome to have.

Why not. It's all make believe anyways.

If his pro career, is like his college...he'll be great for 4 games then never see the field again.... too risky.
Im sticking with Davis, Cunningham, or Obi.
Our FA LB's are bandaids on a bullet wound IMO

Sounds good to me.

In my scenario, we take an edge/PR at 11 (Barnett or Taco) then at 32, if not traded for Butler, take Engram. Or, if 32 is given up for Butler, pray that Engram is there at 42. But there are plenty of good TEs in the draft I could live with, Njoku (if there but I doubt it), Butt from Michigan, and Leggett from Clemson

Why so dead set on a TE? Howard and Njoku will be gone in 1 st. Possibly Engram too, but likely early 2nd for him. Obviously, TE can be a big weapon in NFL, but I'm willing to give Fleener and Brees a 2nd year of chemistry considering our other glaring needs

I'm just a big fan of using TEs thats all. The typical 6'5"+ that are a miss match for most defenders, plus Brees as QB gets me excited in the pants.

With the 32nd pick and final pick of the 2017 Saints Talk Mock Draft, our beloved New Orleans Saints select Tyus Bowser, Pass Rushing Mother fricker out of Houston.
6'3"
HEIGHT
33 1/4"
ARM LENGTH
247LBS.
WEIGHT
10 1/8" Hands
Saints are in desperate need of pass rush and edge support. Tyus Bowser is the very definition of Edge support and getting to the passer. One of the elite in the draft getting to the qb, was misused a bit in college and spent some time out with injury. Saints continually use the term Edge when discussing draft needs. Bowser will provide a relentless pass rusher that can compliment most of our defensive line. Bowser can play standing up or with a hand in the ground. Names such as Khalil Mack and Vonn Miller and TJ Watt similar presence are not far fetched when scouts examine what Bowser can bring to the NFL.
Thanks for alls participation.
11. OJ Howard
32. Tyus Bowser
42 plus 3rd. Malcolm Butler
we going to da ship.

I can dig it. WHO DAT!!
Also on draft night, I'll be driving home to Baton Rouge to see my first nephew who was born about an hour ago. His first experience with his uncle will be watching the 1st round of the NFL Draft. Couldn't be more excited.
Thanks for hosting the draft Chad.

5 of last 6 picks are edge guys in draft and Saints still get a pass rushing stud. Maybe most potential of them all imo. I'm very pleased with this outcome.

Can easily see us going TE at 42

say we kept 42 and used 11 and 32 picks for defense somehow... 42 would be a great landing spot for a TE, RB, OT... so definitely a plausible pick if we kept 42.

We dont need a TE we need defense with the first 2 picks this is not even debatable.
