That QB (the one everyone was talking about) from the XFL signed with the Panthers.

Looks like we're starting the process of signing league minimum depth.

Kind of surprised that we haven't signed Cameron Tom yet. I hope he recovered well from his injury.

Another guy that can cover the slot. Seems we have a plan in mind here. Like having this versatility and depth

I don’t trust these D players coming out of this league. The QB play was mostly horrible. We will see.

If he even makes the team he will be a 4th or 5th CB and special teams guy. You won’t have to trust him for anything

He has NFL experience as an UDFA with Arizona, it’s not like he’s a total schlub

I was making a larger scope opinion based on the games i watched. I also don’t consider this a minor league but more players that could not make it in the NFL.

That said, I mostly enjoyed watching it and the different rules vs the NFL..

The transparency of their officiating and the replay system MUST BE implement by the NFL if they want to remain the king.

Nichols played four seasons for the South Florida Bulls and started at defensive back his final three years. As a freshman, Nichols came off the bench as a reserve defensive back in seven games and started one game. He became a starter going into his sophomore season and was named first team All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) after recording 62 tackles, 8.5 for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery along with a team leading four interceptions, one of which he returned for USF's only defensive touchdown of the season, and five passes broken up. As a junior, he led the Bulls with four interceptions and seven pass breakups and made 49 tackles (2.0 for loss) and was named second team All-AAC. As a senior, Nichols recorded 56 tackles, 12 pass breakups and 3 interceptions and was again named first team All-AAC. Nichols finished his collegiate career with 175 tackles, 11 interceptions (third most in school history), 24 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one sack and 14.5 tackles for loss in 50 games played.

Nichols was selected by the Houston Roughnecks in the 39th Round of the 2020 XFL Draft. Nichols recorded 24 tackles (three for loss), with a sack, six passes defended and a league leading three interceptions before the 2020 XFL season was cancelled following growing concerns about the COVID-19 virus.

Anything new on this guy?

I found this YouTube video on him. Looks like he’s not afraid to get in there and make a tackle. And most of his interceptions seem kinda lucky, which is not a bad trait to have.

What’s his chance of making the team?
