@RapSheet: Another first-rounder in the books: The #Saints agreed to terms on a 4-year contract with No. 14 pick #UTSA DE Marcus Davenport, source said. They traded all the way up to get him, obviously a huge part of 2018.

What does that mean?
These contracts are already slotted. There's no negotiation on amount anymore. And being that he falls in the range where they get all 4 years guaranteed (based on how many guaranteed years prior picks in that range have gotten), there wasn't anything to haggle over here.
