Which mid round receiver would be immediately helping the team right now?

Amon-Ra St. Brown off the top of my head

Oh yeah, I'm sure some washed up bargain basement WR will be the fix.

Our top 2 are both UDFA who would be 5th guys in a good group.

Meh, Callaway and Deonte are 3rd and 4th in a good group IMO. They obviously aren’t effective 1 and 2 at this point but with a healthy MT and a Tre’Quan Smith that was actually useful we wouldn’t have any issues. Wish we had a legit #2 and I was hoping Callaway could secure the job this season

Mims ran nothing but go routes in college.

He can't get on the field for the jets.

This is why i wanted them to bring in amendola.

I'd bring in john brown and tate in for a workout.
Jeffrey is always hurt and a shell of himself.

We haven't been fine at WR for years and for whatever reason they've done nothing to seriously improve the situation outside of Emmanuel Sanders.

I'm pretty sure sanders agent called the saints, not the other way around.

He would be helping a bunch right now. I never understood his or jackrabbit's contracts.

They should've structured them differently.

Then that likely means he’s an upgrade to our WR

I think with the way our receivers run routes based off the coverage, it’s very unlikely for us to sign or trade for someone that’s going to help us. Even Emmanuel Sanders took half a season to settle in (albeit it being covid off-season). I think the only contributor could be Brandin Cooks or maybe Snead but neither of those is going to happen.

This is not going to be one of the Saints' better seasons, so, there's no reason to get excited about the current predicament.

Wait 'til next year!

41 yards on the season , beast!
And drafted 20+ picks ahead of Ian Book.

Fantastic counterpoint. Thank you.
