Long and hard . A 10 year issue that hasn’t been fixed

It’s an issue but my god Crawley has been especially awful the last two weeks.

Crowley is as bad as we’ve seen, worse than Jason David. I didn’t think that was humanly possible.

And not only did we shite the bed on that TD BOMB LATE. ON 4th down. They were in FG range again after that. Just shite defense at the end period. A fireable offende.

The prevent defense doesn’t help this defense at all. Traditionally the Saints have not played the prevent defense well and this year is worse than most. Like another thread said, pressure is the key. When you can’t defend for shite, a pass rush is an necessity.

Crawley was awful last year. This is nothing new.

Why is it called prevent defense when it doesn't prevent? Chavis was well known for letting teams score with his prevent.

You people are nuts. Crawley was as solid as you can ask for a number 2 corner. If I remember correctly he had the best coverage rating in the red zone last year. He's had a rough start to the year but let's not act like he's fricking Jason David.

Some of you fricks are so ignorant. Jason David was historically bad. Like, record-breaking bad. Crawley isn't even close.

Pretty much. Jason David gives up 100+ yards and multiple tds a game.

Crawley gives up a single big play seemingly almost every other game and he's Jason David. Jtfo

David gave up a bunch of 10-15 yard plays, Crawley gives up 50+ yard plays, he’s trash.

I mean what the frick are we doing differently this year? Is this an issue of horrible scheming or poor player performance? I honestly don't fricking get it.

I don’t either bud. They actually made a step forward last year. This year two steps back.

The Saints currently have ZERO pash rush, zero may still be under selling it. Without a pash rush the secondary will continue to struggle.

Sadly, not getting Suh may be the reason this season is a wash.
