Saints scouts doing good work! Ray Shipman LB

Yes. Ray Shipman.
You know, the former point guard of the florida gators.
Spent two years on the gators basketball team before transferring to UCF.
A big kid 6'4" 240 and very very smart (C-USA All-Academic Team) who played his senior year, having already graduated, working on his masters.
That Ray Shipman.
Here's a good read and video. This kid will only get better. I would imagine even being a bit raw that he will have the quickest feet and best coverage skills of any LB'ers we have at camp because of his experience guarding point guards in basketball. Sounds like he has a good chance to make the P.S..

He also talks about himself in the third person... an obvious prerequisite for anyone aspiring to be a transcendent LB in the NFL.
