To be fair, it was the exact number that CBS and other outlets predicted for him, as others have pointed out.

juwan had a pretty bad stretch but then he came back and looked great. I am comfortable moving forward with an offensive minded coach and juwan has been a good lockerroom guy and he's a pretty great receiving tight end in a pass evolving game. His resigning both helped our cap situation and filled a roster need for the next 2 years minimum. He also has 14 td's over the last 3 years with a not great offensive situation in new orleans with our injury luck etc.
bottom line, anyone who wants to be drama over this move either doesn't understand the big picture of how it helps and/or is just looking to be all drama which we have a lot of these people.

Terrible signing. TE is a position of need BECAUSE Johnson has been so bad there.
