Gayle Benson was sued over a dozen times and arrested for fraud in connection with interior design businesses. Nola.com

Benson began her career in receptionist and secretarial positions while doing interior design before buying and renovating businesses with her second husband, Thomas "T-Bird" Bird. Following their divorce, Benson continued an interior decorating business called Gayle Bird Interiors, Ltd.[8][11]

In the first ten years, Gayle and her then-husband Thomas Bird, renovated one hundred properties.[12][13]

The married tom benson and he croaked, now she is a hero to all woman entrapnuers.....

Gayle gonna piss away the Pelicans and Saints
My guess is Pelicans will be the sacrificial lamb and will be in Seattle as it also entangles the Smoothie King Center

Your guess is wrong.

Relocation makes the owners zero dollars.

Expansion is pure cash in the owners pockets. Expansion teams in Vegas and Seattle would put 100s of millions in pure cash in each owners pockets, without even mentioning expansion of current TV deals.

The team is worth a lot but that does not guarantee cash on hand. Gayle has spent a lot of cash and it is running low. They are losing money on a lot of fronts outside of the Saints and it is finally starting to affect paying the bills.

Talk about a troll making a lot of dumb shite up. Ridiculous.

Then they are deliberately withholding payment on bills just for the fun of it? Yeah, that's not going to fly regardless, especially with the NFL under fire for its owners constantly wanting public $ for new stadiums and renovations.
Try reading the article.

Not sure what’s going on with LSED, but submitting documentation of work done when invoicing for payment is pretty much the most standard of standard practices. To not be able to get your biggest partner that info is pretty strange.

Soooo, either, some one is dropping the ball or something fricky is going on.
LIkely Jeff Landry playing games. As he has already proven, transparency is not his thing.

Does this board not have any mods? This thread has a blatant lie in the title and I've RA'd it more than once

I like how this board has this idea in their heads that Gayle is in the office going over the books and running the finances of the saints day to day and personally stroking checks.

Dennis Lauscha runs the saints. And if you can’t figure out why a former accountant from Arthur Anderson isn’t going to write a check without documentation, then you’ve never met an accountant.

Are you familiar with the Robinson House? Worth twice what Benson's pad is worth.

And are you really going to act as if Arthur Andersen is something to crow about? Was he on the Enron team? Worldcom? Do you think their is a reason they do not say which firm he worked for in his Saints bio?

Also interesting that Benson is now giving Jesuit a multiple of what Brother Martin has gotten since Tom died and that is not including the legal and PR help on the child rape thing, I wonder which Saints exec went there,

So you know Rob and you are clearly holding some sort of grudge against the saints or their Managment. Got it. Sounds good.

You never answered my question. Is a stint at Arthur Andersen supposed to be a good thing when their fraud and deception ended up destroying billions in assets?

And my only true grudge is that the Saints organization begs for our taxdollars even though they have millions to try and assist Jesuit and the Archdiocese to cover up and defend child rapists. That is not as low as the rapist but not that much higher.

I do not think Rita was necessarily a good person either but I have seen the story over and over where the new wife pushes the old family aside by any means necessary.

And I do not know Rob but know of him and his character through friends in maritime law.

It doesn't imply a good employee or a bad employee unless one has evidence to the contrary.

I agree but there is a reason they do not list the firm on his personal bio. Does not mean anything really unless you were on the Enron or Worldcomm teams.

The point of the AA mention is that if you were an accountant at a huge nationwide accounting firm that had failed because they were up to a bunch of shady shite, you’d probably do your very very best to make sure you did everything by the book after you left so that your reputation wouldn’t get caught in that mess.

Having seen what happens when people don’t provide correct paper work and you just ignore it and sign off, and all

Or one could learn what you can and cannot get away with it....
