Zac Robinson is my top target but Griese or Johnson would be great too.

This would be good imo, definitely a rising star. His 1 year as OC in Minnesota they were middle of the road, inconsistent, with some very big games mixed in.

I didn't even know Griese was coaching, I thought he was still a broadcaster

By the sheer number of interviews it seems they are trying to bring someone in from the outside. This many is not just for show.

Possible but unnecessary past the minimum required to interview. Maybe no one is really wanting the lame duck job

Its definitely Allen beating the bushes as its his arse and HC career on the line next year not Loomis's. If Allen fails next year he knows thats it for any more chances to run a team.

Only argument is if they don't want the job, why waste their time interviewing. Especially those that are still in the playoffs and have other opportunities out there? They'd have a legitimate reason to reject/delay these interviews.

Also, it appears they are only releasing info on who they have interviewed. Are we to assume they have interviewed 100% of the people they reached out to?

Agents are always going up leverage open jobs to get their guy more money. They aren’t turning down interviews if they’re truly on the open market

Yes you use leverage, even if it’s not a job you want. More pay at your current or next job.
