Richard is supposedly a dick so that isn't why anyone is bitching.
Why not fire him a week ago to keep Nielsen, who is a coveted guy and supposedly a really good coach?
Why not make some changes on Offense, the unit that struggled mightily?

Can only hope something is going to happen soon now that the Payton issue is finished.

My guess is that it’s because there are 14 teams looking for an offensive coordinator and they’d be the 15th team.
I think the bigger pressure is building a better team. They had an injured QB and a backup QB as the options all season. (Jameis still rehabbing. Was never 100%)
helluva reason

Cause nielsen probably still would've left to be his own dc and run his own defense. There is a huge difference.

I don't really see that as a reason you keep a guy.

Yeah that’s kind of a tacit admission that your organization sucks and you can’t be one of the more attractive options.

The Bucs interviewed Curry today by the way for OC so it’s possible we lose him

Why would you fire the guy?? I'm not buying that the guy was a dick and all of this hearsay BS. That team makes the dumbest decisions like giving away CJ Gardner to the Eagles. Smh

Bienemy isn't coming to a team to be an OC that doesn't have a QB.
He can stay in KC even if he is behind Reid and keep his reputation in tact.
If he leaves to be an OC, its to a team with a lot of talent and a franchise QB where he runs the offense.

There was a ton of talk of this when Richard was hired. It is well known.

Greg Olsen is the broadcaster/former TE for the Panthers and Seahawks
Greg Olson is a coach who is currently an assistant with the Rams. He has been an OC in multiple places in the last decade or two

This
Allen basically admitted when he got the job the D is his baby and he'd still continue to run it. I'm sure inside the building it was known Richard was out, Nielsen left to run his own D his way
