Carr would be best qb in division

If he signs, let's say a 5-year contract, what is the Saints' realistic ceiling with Carr in those 5 years?

If you honestly believe the answer is the Super Bowl, you're wrong. And if the answer isn't the Super Bowl, then why are we doing this again?

The people who want Carr probably would have been the same people 40 years claiming Archie Manning would have taken the Saints to a Super Bowl if only he had a better supporting cast, as if Manning wasn't a part of the problem.

Carr was a part of the problem with the Raiders. All three of the franchises mentioned (Jets, Panthers and Saints) have some sort of dysfunction at this point, so he's not going to magically turn any of them into a Super Bowl team, either.

The defense is still good enough to possible shut a team or two down in the playoffs and make a lucky run. You have to get to the playoffs to have a shot.

Idk about that. I would need to see the d line first. Everything starts there.

Roger's is the Jets #1 option. Carr is their fallback plan im sure Carr doesn't feel confident being second fiddle in NY. And not even the real NY NFL team. The Jetts are a smokescreen in the Carr debate.

I'm sure the jets are telling carr he is their number one option. They told him he could become a hall of fame guy with them.

The jets would be a great landing spot for them. They have the money to pay him whatever he wants. Imo the saints are his fallback option.

The rodgers thing might not even happen. I could see rodgers with the packers for another year.

You can’t say this with a straight face when Jimmy G, Nick Foles and Flacco have made it to the fricking Super Bowl in the last ten years. And Peyton wasn’t exactly lightning the world on fire in 2015, either. Hell, he was benched that year

Yea people said the same thing about Brees signing in New Orlean.

Yadda, Yadda, the Saints are never going to win anything they are a laughing stock.

Fact is you don't know what Carr could do in New Orleans. You just don't like Carr and don't think the Saints should sign him. Fair enough, but that's not proof that he can't win in NOLA.
