Yeah I know Lutz lost the game but this team will be a bottom dweller as long as he is the coach. I don’t give a shite how nice of a guy he is or how good of a friend he is to you, this is a business.

Saints fans don’t care about winning. Done will be full regardless. They are fine with mediocrity.

DA will be back as Saints HC. He's a placeholder.

We were embarrassed in only one game and basically never had a chance to win 2 all season. Head coaches don't get fired in their first year for that...enjoy another season with him.

A placeholder for who? You have a hall of fame coach looking to coach again who just so happens to have been your coach what the frick are you keeping Allen another year for? A better coach won’t be available next year you can bank on that. Fire him now and get it over with then get Sean and Gayle together and figure it out. This team has pieces to make it good for years to come but we need a real leader.

Yep Gayle doesn’t care about the Saints anymore. She only cares about the Pelicans

Mr. and Mrs. Sean Payton got the Hell out of Louisiana for a very good reason! They have no intention of living or working there EVER again!

Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

Loomis is getting paid millions of dollar, and is technically the owner. Gail has no clue what she is doing, and will just cut checks so she doesn’t have to make tough decisions/leave her comfortable lifestyle

Maybe Sean was letting them see his actual value for a year

No, but its obvious who was watching the team before 2006.

Just because some of us arent crying over every little thing doesnt mean we dont care about winning. We've just seen alot worse and quite honestly this shot is still so much better than some of the previous eras

Kinda turns my stomach when I see Jim Haslett footage on that ugly turf the dome had. Just because of the frustration I associate with it..I never want that again. And because of that, its not acceptable to accept mediocrity. ..and that I can admit, id have loved to have had Dalton over Todd Bouman.

..but, we aren't an organization like the browns, Detroit, jets, etc where we can be sold in "maybe next year"..we know what its like to make a run and for the foreseeable future, it seems the whole division is up for grabs. Imagine if we had a consistent team that was reminiscent of the 2011 team. There is no hope in the NFC South..we could be like the patriots were in their shitty division for the past 2 decades.

guaranteeing playoffs almost every season, and possibly hosting. maybe a quality QB will see that and want to play.

Who knows, frick it
