This strategy has failed. We are mediocre at best with an old roster that is aging rapidly.

Why are we tripling down on this failure of a strategy?

If we had a a strong owner it would not be going down like this. We can only hope she has strong friends in her ear.

by strong owner, you're meaning a more petulant owner wanting to earn more public emotions of the moment and making decisions on the whims only to hire half arse coaches that aren't no better and create a continuous culture of inconsistency.

What QB whisperer wants to work with a 33 year old average qb.

You have your opinion of a "strong owner" and I have mine.

Other than 1 in 5 good drafts, Loomis has been terrible. He keeps the Saints in constant Salary Cap problems.

As long as you didn’t lie to yourself that it wouldn’t happen then you aren’t really upset about this. To be honest.

frick me. We’re going to suck for a while.

Yes, because from what I'm seeing, DA will be here multiple years. If we suck this year, they will give him a pass because of Pete and the players that don't want to buy into the system. Everyone should have known the Saints would suck once Brees left. Now that Payton left it was 100% going to happen. 9-8 is the best we can hope for and I'll go on record saying we go less than that this year.

This bitch was saying the same shite when we were 11-5, 13-3, 13-3, and 12-4 etc. (2017-2020) we’re going to be in cap hell blah blah.

This is not correct at all

I was OK with it while we had Brees and a window, although we should have parted ways with Brees a year earlier.

I was even defending it in our first year post-Brees, but then we tripled down on the dumb when it was clear we weren't good.

12th in dead cap space. You can't even get it right.

And I laugh when you point this out because you ignore 2021, 2022, and what 2024-2025 look like (which is the point).

Exactly youve been melting for years now. You deny it and admit it in your own response. Your spost history speaks for itself buddy.

12th in dead cap space.

Thats what I said tool bag.

And you ignore 2023 like we werent 12th, and pretend like you know where our 2024 cap will end up after restructures etc. when you have no clue. It depends on what happens with several players. So stfu and we will see what happens.

The Saints are a winning franchise and have been for some time.

Shared in my other post re: the Saints winning. Most wins as follows:

Since 2020? 11th tied

Since 2018? 4th

Since 2013? 6th tied

Since 2006? 5th (Brees era)

Since 2000? 7th

Does this bother you? Seriously? Facts are facts, the Saints are a WINNING nfl franchise.

Your just a shitty whiny arse pussy fan.

Now shut the frick up.

In what way is rational decision making "melting"?

No you said:

12th isn't good

What were we in 2022? 2021?

The funny part is you don't realize the utter irony in your own words

We have not been a winning franchise for 3 years.

No, but what does it have to do with the price of tea in China?

We're talking about 2023, 2024, etc. What we did in the Brees/Payton era is irrelevant.

Decision-making is made, and judged, in the present.

Yeah, that was a tricky description. 2/3 years, the saints had a winning record

We’ve also been 1 game away from winning the division the past 3 years

How many playoff games the past 3?

2021: 9-8, no playoffs
2022: 7-10, no playoffs
2023: 9-8, no playoffs

So the past 3 years we are 25-26 with no playoff appearances.

Not a winning franchise.

Nice 3-year sample. What about 4,5,10, 20?

It's an accurate description.

The past 3 years we are not a winning franchise and are mediocre.

We are literally talking about the post-Brees era, which is drumroll, the past 3 years.
