Did he? In all fairness - every team that would have traded for him were going to be gutted for picks. Limiting their ability to compete if they didn't have a well built team already.

Kinda missed the point. Playing in a dome 10-11 games a year guaranteed along with warm weather cities Tampa and Carolina or playing in 10-12 games a year in Cleveland, Pitt and Cincy and other outdoor stadiums in Dec and Jan. Wonder what conditions a quarterback would prefer?

Throw out last year since he was knocking off the rust and playing late in the year, but if Watson was on our team, I’d say he would be the best qb in the NFC easily.
In the AFC, he has at least 4-5 better than him he has to go through. Way easier to get to the superbowl and write your legacy in the NFC.

Like I said he chased money instead of the better career choice.

Cousins is the best player you listed, let that sink in.

Lawrence is in the AFC.
I don't know why you got downvoted because you're right, Lawrence is in the AFC, but he listed Tannehill/Willis with the Titans and I know the Titans is a AFC team too. Lol

you may be right about Cousins being the best QB, and maybe that's why you may have gotten downvoted. I kinda disagree with you too because Cousins is an inconsistent QB imo that would be terrible I think if he didn't have former LSU great Justin Jefferson to throw the ball to. I think a steadily improving Daniel Jones for NY may be the best of the NFC QBs the Saints will face.

but I think dude just screwed up on the subject in that post period! Because he has other AFC teams too in the Pats, Texans, and Colts. He probably just meant all of the QBs on the Saints schedule period, and not just the NFC.

Seemingly very low number of INTs and Sacks.
If the secondary stays healthy I think the INTs will come.
Need to address pass rush. Lack of pass rush gonna cripple the entire defense if they go into season without improving current DE/edge talent.

it's strange but the Saints defense tied for 5th in the league QB sacks.

Kaden Ellis and DeMario Davis were second and third respectively in sack totals on defense.

Cam Jordan was first with just 8.5 sacks.

That's why I'm repeating how bad O-line play is.

With a revamped D-line, who stays healthier than what we've had, who knows how better it could be.

But a lot has to break right for that to happen.

Imagine if a defense could play like the game was played 25 years ago

that's just it though man!

O-line play just isn't as good.

That's the equalizer.!

Now, I doubt we see as many backup QB's thrust into action as we did last year but I believe it's still going to be an issue that tips the scales on the product of the game.

just watch a team who had to pick a QB or WR at the top of the draft and doesn't do enough on the line of scrimmage. With an early 1st round pick.

I just wish they would get rid of the spot of the foul PI call. That is a major disadvantage to a defense that throws the balance of the game off.

Things like that bother me, players also aren't allowed to be the best they can be when the NFL has to dance around CTE and everything else
