Probably did this to cover for the guy they really like which I believe is Jaxon Dart, just not at 9. I’d pick with 9 if I couldn’t trade back the BPA and then try to move to the bottom of the 1st by packing our 2nd this year (40) and our 2nd next year as well as maybe a 3rd or 4th this year to get that 5th year as a 1st round pick in case Dart is a success. I believe in the right situation he can be a good starting NFL QB that can run better than any current white NFL QB other than possibly Josh Allen. The key will be to teach him to go through his progressions and not make stupid throws trusting his arm strength to make the play kind of like Nussmeier does.
