No way of knowing he wouldn’t be either, other than knowing all the teams that needed qbs picked theirs already. Or in case of the Browns, passed on him three times. Think they valued him or had him rated high if they took a linebacker and running back before him? Highly doubtful.
And the only other team, maybe the Steelers didn’t have a 2nd to draft him.
It’s why I said he was a reach based on the way the draft played out at the time. And the other factors, including his age and injury history.

It’s just tiring. If you love your QB, go get him. It clearly was not a reach when anyone could have taken him or traded up for him at any time and we’d lose out. You don’t chance that

If Broughton can play, that would really put this draft over the top. Im skeptical about Broughton though. I don’t know what to make of him. He’s on the ground a lot. Even his highlight film, he’s falling into tackles lol

I’m not arguing in a redraft Shough wouldn’t go top 5 dumass. Qb is the most importantly position in the nfl. I’m sure Watts would go in the first round if a re-draft occurred. That’s not the argument.
