Not really. He played well for 2 quarters last week against arguably the worst secondary in the NFL. Prior to that he led the offense to 12 points at home (all field goals), and hasn’t been able to check down field or complete passes over 10 yards.
Some are just seeing what they want to see with him for whatever reason. They desperately want him to be the guy, but the reality of the situation is the Saints have been winning in spite of him, not because of him.
