Saints @ Patriots - Who's going?

Planning stages are still early on... but what it looks like guys?
Foxborro is way out there.. so looking at all options on where we will spend the weekend in Boston.
Yanks play @ Red Sox so looking to do that on Friday or Saturday....
Should be a hell of a weekend.

We have 8 of us going, doing the Red Sox game also. We have a guy that lives in Boston that is supposed to have gotten us an AirBNB.

Looked at some air bnb's but think we are going hotel route. the air bnb's were still going to cost each couple around 600 or so so made sense just to get our own hotel room for a little more privacy.

I’m going. Already have my tickets for both Saints and Sox. Staying at Loews Hotel in Backbay/Copley square area. Pretty pumped.

Getting down to the stadium is a pain in the arse. What's fun though is actually going to the Saints bar for the game. Right across from Fenway. Nothing but black and gold. Had a blast there a few years ago. I think it's called Baseball Tavern. Not sure if they found another spot. Check out the New Orleans Saints Fan in Boston facebook

Heard from a poster here that lives there that the baseball tavern is a goner.
I watched the LSU sec championship game v Georgia a couple years ago there and it was a blast. 100+ LSU fans packed into a bar in Boston coupled with hanging with Jarvis green was a fun time.

I didn’t think it was that bad. Just stay in short walking distance to the train station and take the patriots train. I thought it was fun as hell.

What's the price range looking like on hotels? Alot of what I saw ranged between 250-350 per night, would like to get that under $200....
first time going to Boston so gathering all of the information needed for the trip.
Sounds like alot of people have similar plans. Will be awesome seeing so much purple/gold... and black/gold out there...
Still monitoring flight situations...haven't booked that yet either... On the fence about some flights and even looking into possibly flying home from Providence (not far from Foxborro)

We got a group rate discount of $365 a night. Checking in Thursday leaving Tuesday.

I signed up for google alerts and was able to get a city view suite at Loews hotel in backbay for 200/night. It’s since gone up to around 350. Never used those alerts before but a pretty handy feature.

Yeah 200 a night is what I figure at this point.
Looking at a few places that are near the "T"...hoping to use that to get around some if possible.

Been wondering the same.
We also have a group of about 10 heading up. I haven't been seeing much fluctuation in ticket prices the past few weeks, but not sure if COVID restrictions are baked into those prices.

When looking/monitoring MLB tickets for trips I had in May and upcoming in August...I can tell you the further out is always alot higher than a few weeks out... Covid restrictions change and possibly more tickets become available.
I would think that those will come into play as well. The Saints don't often play up there so ticket prices may sit at a decent price, but also you don't have Brady or Brees involved in this game so they also could drop... will be a fun one to monitor.
I think we will have some connection with a buddy of mine who hunts with some New England O-Lineman in the off season, so that will help.
