I don't think drew would have been as great in Miami. Guess it worked out for everyone except the Dolphins

I've never read the book. But I know it's never been said before that they offered a contract and that he accepted. Yea I know Brees looked at Miami first but nowhere has it been said he accepted a contract. Yet the douches on here will always douche

Which is why I hate it when Drew sometimes talks about how coming to the Saints was some kind of calling, a chance to do something special bull shite. He came to the Saints because they were the ONLY team that offered him a contract.

Take deep breaths sunshine pumpers, I'm glad Brees is the Saints QB, I just don't need to hear all that 'it was a calling' tripe.

your recent atricle in the Picayune on how it's still possible for the Saints to acquire the No. 6 playoff seed in the NFC was inspiring.

I don't.

P.S. I bet you also hate it when Drew leaves the receivers out to dry.

I am recovering from a labrum tear currently and am at 14 weeks since surgery. While I have most of my range of motion back, I still have difficulty reaching behind my back, doing the throwing motion and such. Even if I get the motion back, throwing any ball with some velocity will take a long time. The doctor has said it will take me 6-9 months to be completely healthy.

I only had two tears in my labrum and needed two anchors to attach it back. Brees had a 360 degree tear, which means it had completely peeled off from the shoulder socket and would have needed multiple anchors drilled into the shoulder bone. So a lot more digging and maintenance would have gone into Brees' shoulder....which means more scar tissue and possibly longer recovery time.

Not knowing when Brees had his physical with the Miami Dolphins, it could very well be that his rehab was not complete. Granted he is a top flight athlete and has access to world class doctors and physiotherapists, which could cut his recovery time by a great amount compared to a lay person like me, but the labrum and the joints still need time to heal. Nothing but time can help with that.

There was nothing trollish about my post twat waffle.

I was just pointing out that when Brees talks about his coming to NO was a "calling" is bull shite. He came because there were no other takers.

And I'm sure the fans would love to hear him say that you worthless piece of troll trash!
I hate it when you say you are being objective when you should just come out and say that you are a lonely pathetic loser who has no friends so you post inflammatory things on message boards to get responses from people because no one will talk to you in real life?

So, Payton's first choice was to coach the Packers over the Saints, doesn't bother me. Worked out pretty well for us.

No big surprise. Saban making excuses for his failures and blaming others.

Actually, many Saints fans knew this. I did
This is like coming on here and telling us SP preferred Green Bay as his first choice. We already know all this.
