It's what we're saying: that's a problem.

No shite. That's why this ain't going to change shite.

But we'll come off a bye healthy on defense, show slight improvement, and all of the dogshit position and assistant coaches how have been plaguing this team for years will celebrate job security while we search for another scapegoat

I'm all for it too. But Vitt has been with the progam a long time, im not sure he's the problem. There has been a culture problem within the program and it needs fixin. I think thats where you start at the head, but when you are in charge of the defense and its the worst in the league for 2 seasons now, thats on you.

the frick he wasn't.

This team has had leadership problems starting with Payton
They have been severely hampered with injuries on defense, none of which is to blame rob ryan
Forced to play many defensive rookies and inexperienced vets to make up for lack of talent
Have made some big personnel decisions that are biting us in the arse big time, none of which rob ryan is to be blamed for.
Several poor drafts have caught up with us, none of which they allow rob ryan to make executive personnel decisions

I want wholesale changes. Clean the fricking house, this whole team is a fricking mess and it ain't rob ryan's fault.

Book it this is happening. This reminds me of The Mora era when he just gave up and lost his passion for the game. Payton is there! I do think Payton will finish the year though and not quit like Mora did.

Browner
Vitt
Allen
McMahon
Offensive playcalling.

5 things more important to address.

I'm not saying Ryan deserves to stay, but he is far from the only problem and this leaving will not fix a single thing.

Hate it for Ryan. I don't feel like it's all on him. Every defensive coach on this staff is bad plus we have zero talent on defense aside from Jordan

Exactly. So many more issues. Rob isn't all that great, but who can tell what the hell he's capable of with the amount of injuries and rookies on this defense? Theres not stability with the same 11 guys being on the field.

He's not necessarily creating a problem, but the staff is stale and changes need to be made. We're going nowhere, and until CSP decides having his buddies around isn't necessarily the best thing for the team, especially on the defensive side, we'll see more of the same.

Half empty Saints fan right now
Firing RR is just the start but the main evaluations will be made after the last game and not mid season. I am neither positive or negative concerning if certain coaches stay or leave.
I hope for major changes to the staff but would never say never. One thing I do believe is that back to back losing seasons will shake things up a bit

Rob Ryan firing had to happen. Only question is if it should have happened sooner LINK
