I read he is still looking for 10mil a year, I don't know if I want to give him that much or if he deserves that much, I don't think anyone could argue that he wouldn't help our offense tho

Is it sad that it might actually matter?

If that's even close to true, our FO isn't spending any time thinking about it, IMO.

My opinion is that if we could get him for a significant discount from what he was paid in Phi, then I'm for it. If his cost is going to be what he was paid in Phi, then it makes no sense.

I would like the pro bowl roster of desean, graham, colaton flooding a zone after fake draw to PT.

IF there is any relevance to the gang type rumors and locker room issues, my guess is he will stay away from Cali, if he has a smart agent, imo

Not enough play has been given to the fact that they could basically cut ties completely without being on the hook for anything, no dead money. I'd be willing to bet if they still owed Jackson 10-15 mil over those last three years, he'd still be an Eagle. The fact that he "didn't mesh well" just made the decision all the easier when you could just wash your hands of it and clear the books.

They're eating 6.25 million this season in dead money for him according to Spotrac LINK

He's a talent for sure but likely unaffordable in our present situation.

If they would sign him, mind = blown

Just remember if he pulls something like Hernandez you get all the remaining money back.

Actually you dont. Pats are paying Hernandez 7.5 mil this season

I think there's a law that you are required to say that the Jets are interested in EVERY free agent.

I'm ok with all of that, especially if the Panthers strike out. Tho honestly they wouldn't scare me offensively even with Jackson

This! Looks like all the quality organizations are passing. No doubt there something not right about the situation, whether it's money or his issues or both.

Not saying what Ed says is legit or not, but it's funny that the Panther's GM(you know, the guy making these decisions) said they are definitely not interested in Jackson.

FWIW, the Panthers were reported not to be interested previously.

Lots of misinformation flying around.
