As long as he doesn't drop the ball before running into the endzone, run along the goal line to taunt the other team, or act like the arrogant douchebag that he is, I'll take him.

He is an upgrade, but from a eagles fan (classmate of mine) who follows them hardcore. He's definitely the 3 C's. Even Andy Reid pulled out of the race for him and Reid was his biggest defender and put up with a ton of crap. That's a BIG flag.

Just think you guys are way overthinking this. Does anyone not remember the red flags that came with Hargrove, Shockey, and Nicks? No one single guy is gonna come in this locker room, goof off, and get away with it.

I find it funny how many people wanted Brandon Browner here, and just as many who think Jackson would be too much for this team to handle.

the big flag isn't the locker room persona

the big flag is the issues media presents. If his biggest supporter a couple years back doesn't even want him, and they definitely need weapons, then I'm on the fence.

As a player, he is purely one of the best in the game. As a long term commitment, he is not the ideal person based on history.

I'm not reading three pages to determine that I DO NOT WANT. Dude is a locker cancer, contract cancer and character cancer. 3C's = too much for me

I feel like people said the same thing about Tyrann. And honestly being a troubled new orleans kids is worse than a wanna be "crip thug". Tyrann's been good so far and i think it'll stay that way. (yeah i know key words "so far").

The difference is a guy like Mathieu always showed up to practice and has been a great teammate. The same can't be said Jackson. If we were capabale of giving him a 1 year "prove yourself" deal it might be a different story. But tying that kind of money up makes it a risk for Jackson.

It should be a red flag that Philly was happy to part ways with a guy who just put up one of the best years of his career. More Philly teammates came out in support of Riley Cooper than Desean Jackson.

If someone could ban this guy from the fricking internet I would be happy. Could we please get enough people to report him? If enough of us do it he will no longer have an account on twitter.

Ole miss took him to court and banned, and then he came back after the court case.

while we're at I wish we could get Bleacher Report (and a couple of similar sites) to not show up as "news'. It's no more than any thread started here. Just fan based opinions. They may be good or right like threads here but they can be as far off as topics here as well.

Did ed tweet that before Bob? Because maybe Bob saw eds tweet and then just plugged the saints and 49ers

Yes I just checked and Ed tweeted about the 2 teams before Bob said anything about the 49ers and saints.

Not enough play has been given to the fact that they could basically cut ties completely without being on the hook for anything, no dead money. I'd be willing to bet if they still owed Jackson 10-15 mil over those last three years, he'd still be an Eagle. The fact that he "didn't mesh well" just made the decision all the easier when you could just wash your hands of it and clear the books.

I would have to actually get a twitter account to do this, wouldn't I?

Add on they ate 6mil this year and 2mil next year to lose a high end player for nothing? There HAS to be something out there we don't know.

If we can make it happen, I'm down. Our FO and locker room are strong enough to handle DJ.

I agree I wouldn't mind if we do something like the bucs did last year with Revis no guaranteed money, and if he doesn't pan out you can release him without any dead money.

Lolz he's not going to Buffalo.

Raiders could break the bank on him easy.
