Like a broken clock, he can be right twice a day. You throw enough shite against the wall eventually something is going to stick.

As the type of player he is, I definitely want him. I would be concerned about the contract he brings and just how badly or quickly we might become inflexible with the cap.

Ed's tweet

"One HC with interest in @DeseanJackson10: "Lot of research needs to be done here. High risk, potentially high reward.'"

Seems...interesting

Just remember if he pulls something like Hernandez you get all the remaining money back.

getting excited over rumors is a prescription for either heartache or headaches IMO. Werder sez nothing about the Saints. Some here might have more real insight than incarcerated bob.

There were no rumors on Byrd. It was boom this is his first visit and he never went anywhere else. Not disputing the rumor, rumor talk just doesn't do much for me.

My cousin who is a close friend with a guy that works at the Saints facility sez...

It could be that the Redskins (and perhaps the Raiders) are the only teams on the market, and reporters are doing favors for agents and making it look like there is a market.

The worst thing that could happen is the Raiders dropping out and the Redskins only have to bid against themselves.

I mean, people are leaking that the Bills are interested too. Yeah--like he's going to Buffalo.

He was right on the manning injury and the manning to broncos story so I will give him credit there, but agree most of the time he's full of shite.

did he actually break anything, or does he guess a lot and delete what he gets wrong?

He's one of those wannabes. Definitely know quite a few of those.

As long as his "friends" don't buck him up to much to do something stupid, he would never do something stupid on his own.

I have more of an issue with his work ethic, but he puts results on the field.

I find it hard(but not impossible because we have several restructures we can make plus cheap first year) to see him fitting financially, long term more than the short.

I would not think the Saints would touch him. Even if Bob were right (highly unlikely), SF would be a much more desirable location for him given the location and their cap situation.

Signing Jackson will take up some 2014 salary cap space. It might not require as much as the $12.5 million that the Eagles were due to use on him, but it would make sense that any team that adds Jackson has some room to work with. The teams listed as having less than $5 million in cap space, according to OverTheCap.com: the Lions, Steelers, Saints, Chargers, Panthers, Patriots, Ravens, Chiefs, 49ers and Cardinals.

Not high school. These are recent pictures and one of the guys on his record label was arrested(but acquitted) on murder.

So yeah he's very close to really shady people, but he hasn't done anything shady(or hasn't been caught at least).

He's one of those that hangs with the thugs and throws up the gang signs but doesn't do the dirty with them.

I don't think they're in the best cap position, and I don't think Jerry Richardson would want him.

But you have to think that Carolina at the very least inquired about him.
