He would be deadly with the Saints, but I have no idea what we could possibly give up to get him

I thought I read on yahoo that San Fran was the one interested in him

I would take Housh in a heartbeat, but he isnt worth what we would have to give up for him. We have a great receiving corps this year, and we really need to shore up the D even more. Another safety and maybe even Lito before Housh. Our offense is great. If we make moves, it needs to be on D.

I could see for Meachem and Thomas for Houshmanzadeh. But I agree I would rather grab a safety or DT if Ellis does not come back strong first.

Yeah that's what I initially heard too but I don't know why he'd go there if he wants to be on a contender.
Would TJ be nice? Hell yeah. BUT the Saints have other holes to fill first.

New Orleans is a TJ away from being a true Super Bowl team and they hear New Orleans is interested in TJ.
more like a good secondary and a couple lineman away. They do not need receivers.

As good as the offense looks, I don't think you can ever be satisfied. Moore, Meachem, Henderson, etc. have stepped up and done a nice job with Colston out, but I'm not sure I want to rely on those guys in the playoffs. Colston and Housh would be an unstoppable combination. Of course, it's all relative to what you have to give up...

Hmm...give up on a guy we spent a 1st round pick on in just his 2nd year, when all he's done so far is make plays? I'm glad you're not the GM.
