I suggested this before we resigned Bridgewater. I don't think Ted resigned as tradebait but if you want to open that door( this will look horrible to future free agents).

In this scenario you trade him to Miami for a third and swap your 5th for their 4th. Trade that 3rd to Az for Rosen.

Any “Rosen” EVER hired by the Saints better be a lawyer or a CPA.

Moving up a mid round pick and switching Teddy for Rosen definitely not worth the loss of free agent good will.

Both Rosen and Bridgewater haven't proven shite and either could be possibly be a franchise quarterback or fall on their arse...however we already have Teddy and dont have to give up anything more to get him.

Devil's advocate - You have TB for 1 season at more than you would have JR for the next 3 seasons.

I do not know yet whether or not Josh Rosen is a franchise quarterback in this league.

However, I do know that Teddy Bridgewater is not.

Teddy has done something that Rosen hasn't.

1. Had winning seasons.
2. Brought team to playoffs.
3. Won rookie of the year.

Teddy hasn't been able to establish himself as a franchise QB, which he will do as a Saint starting next year.

To the ignorant idiots, Teddy has proven a lot more than many starters in the league.

Cardinals can't wait to trade this guy off. He'll never amount to anything but a backup in the NFL. Says all you need to know how eager they are to get rid of him after looking at him in the organization for a year. He sucks. If he had the talent they'd be more willing to keep him around even if they get Murray.

If they want to take a low draft pick for him, sure. Not really losing much. A 2nd? Hell no.

Through 28 career starts

Drew Brees (Teddy Bridgewater)
542 completions (551)
906 attempts (849)
59.8 comp % (64.9%)
5601 yards (6150)
30 TDs (28)
31 INT (21)
6.2 Y/A (7.2)
74.5 Rating (87)

Something about a young QB progressing as they age and going to another level in a successful offensive scheme

Rosen will never be elite. Plus he’s got an Aaron Rodgers attitude without the game to back it up.

Teddy was never great, I think he threw 14 td's that probowl year. He only went to the probowl because the 7 qb's in front of him bowed out. Same reason Tyrod Taylor made it more recently but is now a back up. People are very uneducated when they throw that 'but he was a probowler' crap around....

And I would make the trade, Rosen played behind an Oline about as good as TB had that last game he started but he didn't have anyone on the lvl as MT and he looked about as good as Rosen that game....
