No, but it's pretty common knowledge he'll be suspended, and he is garbage in the playoffs.

Am I the only person who hates the eye rolling thing?

It seems too overt when it should be subtle.
Kinda mean, too.

Harper being suspended would do us a huge favor. We'd be off the hook for that stupid salary that was clearly driven by GW. Worst signing by Loomis since he's been here. IAQ, another vet off the scrap heat or, if we got lucky, a draft pick should start.

Now that we have LBs, he's irrelevent. He'll actually have to do the job for which he is paid....play DB. Unfortuantely for him and the Saints, he doesn't have the skillset to play it. So, he's useless, esp under a Spag def. His salary is the albatross right now. Its worse than dead cap space bc he actually takes up a roster spot.

Edit: Worst signing by Loomis during the Sean Payton era. The Haslett era speaks for itself and stands alone.

I'll listen to reason. What does he do well? Tackle? No. We saw that all season including the playoff lose. Cover? Uhhhhh.... Rush the passer? 6 sacks. Ok, he's okay at that. He got 3 in one game against a high school line that didn't pick him up. I don't feel like doing it, but I wonder what the number of sacks were on a % of blitzes. I don't remember a sack of his after the midway point of the season. Is he a better blitzer than say Jenkins would be or is it that he was the only option bc we couldn't allow him to be the only guy over the top. Jenkins would be an exceptional blitzer esp out nickel coverage which we couldn't run bc you can't trust Harper to cover or tackle anybody. You know, the definition of a saftey.

I'm just asking. I will listen to all the great plays he made this year and last and the year before. I know he was a huge culprit in the last two playoff losses. I watch every down. I can't remember a great play but I could be wrong.

This says all I need to know about your knowledge of pass rushing, especially on a team that can't generate pressure with its front four.

Harper is a solid Strong Safety in the NFL. He is an EXCELLENT pass rusher and plays tough against the run. Its not easy for ANY safety in the NFL these days with all of the rules that favor the passing game. While GW made him look good coming after the qb he also did him NO favors by blitzing so many SO often. There aren't exactly a plethora of playmaking coverage strong safeties in the NFL.

Agree with everything you said.
To add to it, this guy doesn't understand the lack of depth we have at safety.
